Katherine Hughes
Katherine has worked on a wide range of identity, print, and interactive projects. She spearheaded the redesign of Spectrum magazine and led the design effort for a series of catalogs for the Davis Museum at Wellesley College. Katherine has worked extensively with Harvard Business School, MIT Museum, and Milton Academy. Her passion for typography led her to teach the subject at Rhode Island School of Design and Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she is an assistant professor. Katherine earned her MFA in graphic design from RISD and holds a BA, cum laude, from Smith College. Katherine’s work has been honored by 50 Books / 50 Covers, the AIGA BoNE Show, Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, the Type Directors Club, UCDA, and UnderConsideration.
