Monotype / MyFonts – Type Trends 2020

Clif and Katherine were recently interviewed by Allan Haley for MyFonts’ quarterly “Type Trends” that also featured some examples of the studio’s design work. We particularly love this pull quote from Katherine:

“I can’t help noticing the explosion of experimental typefaces that are often rooted in a vector-based aesthetic. Sharp, witchy terminals; strange stresses; surreal Bézier curves; and nods to historic faces taken to an absurd extreme. I often find myself saying ‘Woah. That is so weird. I LOVE IT.’”
